On The Road Again!

Friday Oct 09, 2020
In episode 2 of The Plant-Based Performers Podcast, we celebrate our 1-year vegan anniversary! Emma surprises Lee with some statistics about what they have saved over the last year using a vegan calculator.
Between us we have saved:
730 animals
14,872 pounds of CO2 (the amount 7,000 humans exhale on an average day)
21,914 square feet of forest (the same as 3 tennis courts)
32,872 pounds of grain (enough to feed 1 person for 18 years)
803,532 gallons of water (this could fill 1 and 1/4 Olympic sized swimming pools)
We also discuss our feelings on fish and the fact that plastic could outnumber fish in the ocean by the year 2050.
Then we chat about life on the road as plant-based performers, the challenges we've faced, and any tips and tricks we have found.
